ALL CUSTOMERS ARE TO PLEASE BRING A PAIR OF SHOES WITH THEM SUITABLE FOR SWIMMING AND RIVER WALKING.
Due to adverse weather conditions, bookings may have to be cancelled without warning. All bookings remain valid for 1 year from date of purchase should Africanyon for any reason need to cancel the booking. We will assist you in rescheduling your booking.
The minimum age for the canyon trip is 8 years old. Indemnity forms for all minors will need to be signed by the minors parents or legal guardians.
In the event of cancellation of booking by the customer, the following rules shall apply;
90% refund of booking for cancellation MORE than 30 days prior to booking.
50% refund of booking for cancellation MORE than 7 days prior to booking.
0% refund of booking for cancellation LESS than 7 days prior to booking.
Customer with restrictive medical conditions and or on constant medications MUST advise their Africanyon Guide prior to entry into the kloof.
Africanyon Pty Ltd is not responsible or liable for any loss or damage relating to the Web Site, the personal information of any user or material and information transmitted over the Africanyon Pty Ltd Booking system. 6.1 Safe and secure. Transacting with us electronically (including transacting and using your credit card on our website) is safe and secure. It is much the same as transacting in person face-to-face.
6.2 Payment processing. We do not get involved in any credit card transactions directly. All credit card transactions are handled or acquired for us via Virtual Card Services who are the approved payment gateway for our bankers, Standard Bank. No credit card details are stored on our website. Virtual Card Services uses the strictest form of encryption, namely Secure Socket Layer 3 (SSL3). 6.3 Payment verification. A Certificate Authority (or CA) http://www.thawte.com/ checks, verifies, and certifies our service provider’s company registration documents and domains to ensure that nobody can impersonate them to obtain your payment Information.
6.4 Payment security. All payers’ credit card details are secured by secure sockets layer (“SSL”) encryption whilst in transmission and reinforced through various encryption processes in order to provide protection for all sensitive payment information. We do not access any of the credit card details. These are encrypted and stored in our secure Payment Card Industry (“PCI”) environment. When required for purposes of a transaction between you, as a merchant, and a payer, we retrieve and forward encrypted credit card details to you. You never access or store any payer’s credit card details.
6.5 Secure URL. Once you begin the checkout process you will notice that the site URL will change from “http” to” https” and a small padlock will appear at the bottom of your screen. This is indicative of a secure Internet transaction.
